The Five Flawless Steps to Building a Strong Executive Leadership Team
Step 5: Discover the Clear and Elevating Goal that Skyrockets Performance
So here we are at the fifth flawless step to building a strong executive team. I’ve placed each of these five flawless steps in order of (1) how ready members are to truly face that step, and (2) the size and reliability of the return on team member time and attention invested in that step. That’s why the first thing I would do is personally take 100% responsibility for being in a great team. Then I would co-author a singularity of focus with my teammates, surface real member motivations (beyond a paycheck) for each, and make and keep operating agreements.
